Book a Consultation

A thoughtful, in-depth conversation to explore fit, clarity, and alignment before committing to a package.

This 90-minute consultation is designed for families who want real clarity, not pressure. Because my practice is intentionally small and deeply personalized, I offer a dedicated consultation for parents and students who want to understand my advising philosophy, my approach to narrative identity work, and whether my style of support is the right match for their needs.

What Happens in the 90 Minutes

1. Pre-Call Intake Review

Before the session, families submit a short student profile, any concerns or questions, an optional early college list, anything they want me to understand. This allows the session to begin with clarity and intention.

2. Parent + Student Conversation (The First 50–60 Minutes)

This is the heart of the session.

We cover:

  • how selective admissions actually works (demystified, de-anxified)

  • the biggest misconceptions families hold and what’s actually true

  • what essays are for and how admissions officers read them

  • how my narrative-first advising philosophy works

  • how my process differs from high-volume agencies

  • why depth and relationship matter more than volume

  • how many students I take, why, and what that means for quality

  • what students need emotionally and academically during the process

3. Mini Student Assessment (15–20 Minutes)

This is where I speak directly with the student.

I ask intentional, reflective questions to learn what matters to them, how they think, what they notice, what they struggle to articulate, and how they respond to meaning-based prompts. This segment is invaluable for trust-building and alignment.

4. Personalized Recommendations (Last 10 Minutes)

At the end of the session, families receive:

  • a clear sense of the student’s narrative potential

  • guidance on what the student’s application journey will require

  • honest recommendations about which (if any) of my packages makes sense

  • clarity on timeline and readiness

There is no pressure to commit.

Why This Consultation Exists

Because families deserve:

  • clarity

  • grounding

  • honest information

  • a chance to understand my work

  • a no-pressure space to ask questions

  • a realistic sense of what their child needs

  • a thoughtful introduction to my process

And because I work so closely and deeply with my students, fit matters.
This session allows both sides to determine whether the partnership feels right.
